On Sunday, President Donald Trump retweeted a tweet that called for the Director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984 to be fired.
The tweet came from a former congress candidate against Nancy Pelosi district, saying..

The tweet comes in response to Dr. Fauci’s comment on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday morning when he was asked if limiting measures earlier would have limited the amount of fatalities.
"I mean, obviously, you could logically say, that if you had a process that was ongoing, and you started mitigation earlier, you could have saved lives," Fauci said. "Obviously, no one is going to deny that.”
The White House has then denied the accusations that he will fire him saying “This media chatter is ridiculous — President Trump is not firing Dr. Fauci,” White House spokesman Hogan Gidley said, adding that Fauci “has been and remains a trusted advisor to President Trump.”
