After a long night of protests at the White House and around the country over the death of George Floyd, President Donald Trump praised the Secret Service for their work and keeping him safe.

Trump said in a series of tweets that the protests “had little to do with the memory of George Floyd. They were just there to cause trouble. The @SecretService handled them easily.”

Mr. Trump referred to the agents as “not only totally professional, but very cool.” He shared that he was safe inside, “watching every move.”

He also mentioned that the U.S. Secret Service had vicious dogs and “ominous weapons” if someone got too “frisky or out of line.” A woman was arrested last night after she climbed over a barrier.

The president seemed to quote an agent saying, “‘We put the young ones on the front line, sir, they love it and good practice.’”

He also said that Saturday night, as he understood, would be “MAGA NIGHT” although, it’s unclear what that implies.
