During a Coronavirus Task Force Tuesday, President Trump announced that the United States will not provide funding to World Health Organization (WHO), as the US conducts a review of their handling of the COV-19 pandemic.

“Today I’m instructing my administration to halt funding of the WHO while a review is conducted to assess the WHO’s role in severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the coronavirus ... the WHO failed in this basic duty and must be held accountable.”
Trump said the United States “has a duty to insist on full accountability,” saying the World Health Organization “failed to investigation” reliable first reports of the coronavirus

This comes after multiple reports of criticism of Trump’s response to the potential severity of the virus in January and February. Trump blamed the WHO for allowing China to mask the true nation of the virus.

As of now, it’s unclear whether partial or all of funding will be cut off. The United States currently contributes over $400 million, a report found on the WHO website.
